A Little Thanksgiving before the Christmas

I figured I’d share a little of my Thanksgiving decor. That’s right, not fall, but Thanksgiving unto itself! Why did I change out my decor just for Thanksgiving you may ask? Because for one, I was tired of the fall decor (or as I call it Pumpkin Day bc I don’t really do Halloween so much). Two I’m trying to bring back some much needed appreciation for Thanksgiving time. I hate skipping it. If the tree before the turkey is your thing, then no judgement here. I’m just against the commercialization of all of our Holidays. So this is my tiny protest 😂 Thirdly, and probably the main reason, well…I walked in to Hobby Lobby the morning they put the fall decor 80% off. I racked up (I went in for one frame 🤦🏻‍♀️) and then when I came home, I realized I could just spruce up my fall decor and make it more Thanksgiving”y”! I took out the orange and added in gold. Except in my kitchen I left my orange/yellow gourds. I love this cream/green/gold combo! I think we all tend to tire of our holiday decor quickly and get ready for a change. I think this is why a lot of people switch over the Christmas so soon. And why I’m always chomping at the bits for the day after Thanksgiving so I can begin decorating for Christmas. So, today is that day. I can start dragging boxes of Christmas out! But first, I wanted to share a little bit of my “Thanksgiving” decor 😁
